Our Process

We pride ourselves on our process that keeps everyone informed on the status of the project and helps the project move along efficiently. This process allows us to give each project the individual attention that it requires and deliver a high quality product to our clients.

Discovery :: Step One

The goal of our initial meeting is to listen to your ideas, offer advice, answer your questions and ask some of our own. We usually end this meeting with a clear picture of the work to be done. From this meeting, we generate a list of components and pricing for the project.

Design :: Step Two

With a clear idea of the project requirements we can begin the design phase. This meeting is best done on site so we can locate components, speakers, volume controls, televisions, electrical outlets, phone lines and cable outlets. We usually do this with your contractor present so he or she can be informed of the work to be done and offer his insight and guidance to the plan.

Wiring :: Step Three

Once the system design has been finalized work can begin. This step needs to be coordinated with your contractor and done before the rough-in inspection. We like to start once the electrician is done with his wiring. Having the light switches, electrical outlets, lighting, telephone and cable outlets in place first allows us to route our wires around hot lights and high-voltage wiring wherever possible.

Final :: Step Four

In this step we come back as the home nears completion and install the speakers and volume controls and make sure everything is in place for completing the project. This step allows your contractor to get his final inspection so you can move in.

Completion :: Step Five

After you move in, it's time for the fun part. Hooking up components, mounting televisions and tuning the system for optimal performance. We will hand you the remote control and we'll review the instructions for operating it. What good is a fancy stereo system that you can not operate? We use universal remote controls which make operation simple and consistent.
